Donate your forest

In 1998, we received a precious gift from a man who did not want his forest in the Strážovské vrchy Mountains to be turned into money. In 2004, we designated this beautiful beech forest as the Rysia Nature Reserve, and for over 14 years now, nature alone has reigned undisturbed there.

For people who see the forest as more than just inanimate matter to be exploited—who are unable to tend to their forest or do not wish to have it managed—we can offer advice or, if necessary, take their forests under our patronage and incorporate them into the Evolutionary Forests network. The VLK Forest Conservation Group guarantees that in such forests, no timber will ever be harvested, no pesticides will be used, and the delicate relationships among forest organisms will not be disturbed in any other way.
